Earlier this year I received an email on a property that was a significant burden on its heir, the city, the county and the state.
These are the type of situations that I find truly rewarding. The monetary reality may not be significant, however, being able to create a situation that brings relief, solutions and profit to multiple people and entities is sufficient reward for my first effort in Warsaw.
This 1910 home was abandoned 3 years ago and became a burden to its heir, a potential cost to the city and a series of unpaid bills to the county and state.
I thoroughly enjoyed the process of assuming the responsibility of resolving the past and creating an excellent future.
As I write this we are hours away from demolition of a 1910 structure and weeks away from the creation of a 2016 home with true character and excellence in design.
I am grateful to the city of Warsaw for graciously forgiving the last 3 years of unpaid sewage bills and to Inglenook, LLC for creating what I feel is a truly amazing design that adds beauty and initiates a spirit of renewal in a quiet corner of our city.
